A special media event at Berlin’s Internationale Funkausstellung, the world’s largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade fair, brought global technology companies together with international media and industry resources, creating a conduit between them and overseas markets.
柏林国际消费电子展,即全球最大的消费电子和家用电器贸易展上,一场特别的媒体活动将全球科技公司与国际媒体和行业资源汇聚在一起,为它们与海外市场之间搭建了一座桥梁。

The Global Connect @IFA 2025, held on Sept. 5, was co-hosted by communications and business consulting firm iMpact and marketing, media, and public relations consultancy Communicate More. Yicai Global, the English-language news service of China’s Yicai Media Group, was the event’s key media partner.
2025国际消费电子展全球连接活动,于柏林当地时间9月5日举行,由通信和商业咨询公司美讯以及营销、媒体和公关咨询公司CM联合主办。第一财经旗下英文新媒体品牌一财全球也深度参与了全程报道。
Business networking services provider InterCulture and end-to-end partnership marketing software solutions provider PartnerBoost were the Global Connect’s co-hosts, with Seel, a US e-commerce insurer, joining as sponsor.

More than 50 prominent media outlets from countries including France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States, such as Benzinga, Forbes, Heise.de, TechnologyInsider, and Welt, joined the Global Connect event.
该活动吸引了来自法国、德国、西班牙、英国、美国等国的50余家主流媒体参与报道,包括美国实时财经新闻网Benzinga、《福布斯》杂志、德国知名科技媒体Heise.de、科技内幕以及德国知名媒体《世界报》等。

The several hundred Chinese companies attending this year’s IFA represent a broad spectrum of cutting-edge sectors, including home entertainment and displays, smart home and major appliances, mobiles and wearables, green energy and e-mobility, as well as artificial intelligence-driven solutions and components, IFA Chief Executive Officer Leif Lindner told Yicai.

Performance-driven marketing strategies were a hot topic at the event. Affiliate marketing and pay-per-conversion influencer partnerships were frequently discussed among exhibitors, reflecting the growing sophistication of the overseas marketing approaches taken by Chinese businesses.
活动现场,“效果导向”的营销策略成为了热门话题。联盟营销、按成交付费的网红合作模式成为参展品牌讨论的高频话题,反映出中国企业在海外市场推广策略上的日益成熟。
The Global Connect also integrated cultural elements to enrich its narrative. InterCulture hosted an Art Meets Tech segment, showcasing German photographic artist Carsten Sander’s Good People of Sichuan exhibition at the IFA. This initiative underscored that “innovation transcends technology, it is about people and their stories.”
值得关注的是,本次活动还融入了诸多文化元素以丰富其内涵。协办方往来文化通过举办了“艺术邂逅科技”板块,在活动上展出了德国摄影艺术家Carsten Sander的《四川好人》摄影展,传达“创新不止于技术,更关乎人及故事”的理念。
IMpact has supported more than 300 brands in their global expansion over the past five years, founder and CEO Chris Pereira told Yicai.

“We’re seeing more Chinese brands forging deep connections with international media, partners, and industry ecosystems,” Pereira said. “This not only reflects the rapid evolution of the tech sector but also highlights the increasing confidence of Chinese companies on the global stage.”

“Global Connect has evolved into a pivotal platform for linking industry influencers and exchanging forward-thinking ideas,” said Sun Ji, director of Yicai Global.
